Learning at Charles Street Video
CSV offers members and non-members working in the media arts opportunities to advance their technical and artistic skills through the following means:

Staff Consultation
Charles Street Video staff members can provide crucial information on specific equipment and in-house technical procedures to help you plan your production and save you time and money. If you choose to edit during office hours, a staff member will usually be available to help you get started with your editing session and provide basic assistance. If you require more detailed technical or project assistance, CSV may recommend a consultation with an individual staff member, orientation session, or workshop. Consultations are free but ideally should be scheduled in advance with the office.

Equipment Orientations for Members
Members may book an editing room or camera orientation session through the office. Please call to find out about scheduling and fees.

Technical Manuals
Editing rooms are furnished with technical manuals for individual pieces of equipment, editing systems and miscellaneous software. Other manuals are available upon request through the office.

Workshop Program
CSV offers a select number of workshops on an on-going basis on the ues of our most commonly rented production gear and post-production editing software, as well as occasional special sessions on other available technologies. See Workshops.
